How to use Birthday Alerts and get reminder alert

1. First launch Address Book

   
   

2. Click on the red ribbon to access the group setting

   
   

3. Make a new group and drag the contact into it with the people you want reminder

   
   

4. Add birthday to the contact if they don't have it

   
   

5. Launch Birthday Alerts and select the group name, the reminder day and time. Then click Import to iCal !

   
   

6. Then in ical select « new calendar » or the birthday calendar if you want to update it
